Gobility was formed with the belief; that by pooling our unique skillsets, experience and outlook on life, we could genuinely innovate the Health Industry. We all share a common background knowledge of Industrial Design and are well versed in trying to solve complex human-centred problems. We plan to use design thinking to develop a product and accompanying service to help the aging population recover from total joint replacement surgery.
We, as a team endeavour to explore ways in which mobility can be optimised in this aging population to promote prolonged physical independence and reduce the burden of care associated with loss of mobility.
Alex Eviston
I am an enthusiastic designer that enjoys the design process from start-to-finish. Coming from a background in health has given me unique perspective towards human centred design and allows me to approach solving complex design problems in a unique manner. I am a firm believer that design can better human lives and I aspire that my future design contributions will work towards this goal.
Callum Burton
I am a dual Industrial and Interior Designer that enjoys the freedom and innovative processes that design as a profession gives. My unique perspective bringing knowledge and process from spatial design, allows me to think more broadly about problems and tackle larger picture issues more easily. I strongly believe that designers can shape the entire world we live in for both better and worse, I strive to improve the world we live in through my contributions.
James Doring
I am an Industrial Designer who also works in Graphic Design and Marketing. My passion lies in designing products and systems which make genuine improvements to people’s lives. This project has utilized both my Marketing and Design backgrounds to develop a product that I am proud of. I believe the health industry is one that has ample room for innovation, and by doing so it will have a direct impact on those who need it most.
